Mhairi Rundell is a PhD student in the Division of Organizational Communication. In 2020, she completed her Master’s degree at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow Scotland, where she focused on innovation and change management in large engineering companies. She then worked for some time before completing a second Master’s degree in Business Communication at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where her Master’s thesis focused on corporate activism in post-Brexit Britain. During this time, she also worked as a teaching and research assistant at the university. Mhairi is interested in the communicative study of major societal challenges such as polarization, activism as well as contentious socio-environmental issues at the intersection of organization and society.
